Go Back to The Right Cause

MonaVie brand products are products with a purpose that extends far beyond the wellness of our customers. We believe that with success comes responsibility.

MORE Project

Through its Charitable initiatives, the MORE project gives back to a world that has given so much to all of us. The MORE Project was founded to help disadvantaged children overcome their circumstances and become self-sufficient through education and practical skills training, while providing them a safe and loving environment in which to grow. With a population approaching 150 million, Brazil has an estimated 30 million children living in poverty, with more than 7 million aged 10-17 working to survive and almost 1 million abandoned to a life on the streets.

The MORE Foundation helps to provide food, shelter, clothing, and education to disadvantaged children - provisions that every human being should be entitled to. To the children whose lives are touched, the MORE Project represents more hope, more caring, and more love.

Through the MORE initiatives, MonaVie seeks to change lives and restore families. MORE adheres to a philosophy of love and compassion in an effort to support those that society has left behind. Its focus is on providing impoverished children, adults, and families with the skills and resources to sustain change and to pull themselves out of poverty.

Charitable Initiatives

The Mom's House provides a family setting with shelter and love as well as dental, medical, and psychological care. Through the guidance of foster parents, children are taught many of the skills needed to help them create a stable, affirming life.

The Father's House provides shelter for young men, ages 18 to 25, who are homeless or suffering from severe circumstances. The Father's House helps these young men to lead productive, independent lives by providing educational, psychological, and emotional support in a stable, supportive environment.

The MonaVie Village (currently under construction) promises to be an amazing and life-changing endeavor. By building a central safe haven community, MonaVie will allow over 100 at-risk children to live in family units with other children, surrounded by the love, psychological care, and emotional support of trained staff and volunteers who are all part of their supportive community.

Preserving the Rain Forest

MonaVie understands acai's significance and feels strongly about sharing this prized rain forest jewel with the world. That's why MonaVie is proud to stimulate the local Brazilian economy and help protect the valuable rain forest that makes acai possible. Historically, the palm tree that grows the acai berry has been harvested for palmito, also known as the heart of palm, for use as a salad garnish. These vegetables consist of 12-inch sections cut from the inside of the tree, a process that destroys the whole palm tree.

Harvesting acai berries from these trees instead of palmito is better for the environment because the trees will continue to grow. Acai is a sustainable, renewable resource and a more profitable way to make a living. Now, with the interest in the acai berry, those who used to make their living harvesting palmito are harvesting acai. Plus, they're making more money by harvesting acai, which makes it a more viable economic situation for the region.
